EA have today updated with a few new screens for FIFA 13 on the Vita, and some Spurs news.

Aside obviously from my wife, children and video games, my other great love is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.  Sure, they may not be as prestigous as some other clubs, and seem to be in the shadow of our North London neighbours, Arsenal, but they have joined Arsenal and six other Premier League teams with a three year deal with EA Sports. Ultimately, what this boils down to is better faces in game, more on that below. EA also gave us a few Vita screenshots featuring Lionel Messi, who they poached from rival PES earlier this year.

EA also said that “over the course of the partnership, Tottenham Hotspur and EA will develop a range of initiatives to entertain and engage fans both at White Hart Lane, the club’s home pitch, and more widely across their media channels. This includes exclusive videos featuring Tottenham Hotspur players, the ability for fans to predict match outcomes using the EA SPORTS game engine, and exclusive tournament footage taken from the club’s Training Center to determine the best FIFA 13 player in the squad.”

As part of the deal, Tottenham Hotspur will also offer a special version of the FIFA 13 boxart, which you will be able to download from their official website when the game is released.

We don’t have much news on the Vita version of FIFA 13 yet, other than it’s getting released in the UK on September 28th. As soon as we do, we will let you know. What are your hopes for this iteration? What’s your reaction to the Tottenham News?
