Big release of information on Twitter.Early on Monday evening, Nihilistic Software starting answering many questions on Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified on their Twitter Feed, revealing many facts about the game.

We were told the complete list of weapons featured, the names of the six maps, all twelve perks and all of the weapon attachments.

The maps are:

  • Nukehouse
  • Shattered
  • Range
  • Rocket
  • Container
  • Intel

Nihilistic have said that Container is inspired by “Shipment” and Intel is a homage to a Russian intelligent station in “Grid”.

Making up the weapons list:

  • Carbine (aka Commando)
  • AK47
  • M16
  • Galil
  • M14
  • FAMAS
  • MP5K
  • UZI
  • AK74u
  • PP19
  • RPK
  • M60
  • Stoner
  • l96a1
  • Dragunov
  • Stakeout
  • SPAS-12
  • Striker
  • ASP
  • Python
  • Scorpion
  • CZ75
  • Mac11
  • Strella
  • China Lake
  • RPG
  • Underaction Launcher
  • Ballistic Knife
  • Crossbow
  • Tomahawk
  • Frag Grenade
  • Semtex
  • Bouncing Betty
  • Flashbang

That’s a pretty hefty list of weapons. C4 is usuable in campaign but only as a cinematic. To complement this, the attachments are:

  • Weight Balance
  • Improved Grip
  • Adj. Stock
  • Quick Draw Handle
  • Extended Barell
  • Tactical Knife
  • Bipod
  • Underaction Grenade
  • Extended Mag
  • Supressor
  • Rapid Fire
  • Red Dot Sight
  • ACOG

There is no Holographic Sight, as the timing of the game preceeds the invention of it. To round this off then, the perks are:

  • Sleight of Hand
  • Lightweight
  • Hardline
  • Jammer
  • Cold Blooded
  • Fast Hands
  • Hard wired
  • Toughness
  • Dead Silence
  • Flak Jacket
  • Surplus
  • Marksman

Nihilistic have said that the differences between Sleight of Hand and Fast Hands are that Sleight affects reload speed, wheras Fast is how quickly you change weapons. The difference between Cold Blooded and Jammer is Cold has no visible name and Jammer means you don’t show on the radar. Nihilistic have also stated that there are no pro perks.

Also confirmed in the chat was that challenges are in, but contacts aren’t. There is no ability to “Dolphin Dive” but there are hit markers. Badges and Emblems are present, but you cannot customise them. You don’t get to wear Ghillie Suits but Nihilistic are pretty certain that there will be no online pass, unlike Burning Skies, and also unlike Burning Skies, you can run and jump at the same time.

We will update you on any further developments, but how do you feel about this? With 20 primary weapons and 10 secondary, do you feel that it’s quite a big list of weapons?

Sounds better and better, hopefully the game plays good too.

    Nice post.

    • Thanks. I was quite surprised with the amount of weapons. For all the bad news, you soon get some good. Just need some new footage or screens.

Wow. This game is sounding dumber and dumber. Why Activision trusted the thrid-party developer that fucked up Resistance, is beyond me. Thankfully they learned their lesson, and will be developing all future handheld games internally.
