But will we see it on the Vita?

EA sent us a press release telling us that come the 18th of December we will see the “Ultimate Speed Pack”, the first of their “ongoing, post-launch commitment to fueling social competition and rivalries.”

For the sum of £7.99 in the UK, you will get access to a sports car fanatic’s dream come true line-up of the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1LM, Lamborghini Aventador J and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and via a new Most Wanted target, the  Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.

This translates to 25 new events littered around Fairhaven too, and 70 more milestones to boost your Speedpoints total, if you are interested in extending your status on the leaderboards.

But the question is will we see it on the Vita? It wasn’t clear from the press release so we asked EA, and are yet to get a response. We also asked on Twitter, as did Twitter user @kriskrosBBK and was told to stay tuned. What’s wrong with a simple yes or no these days?

We will try to get confirmation of this, and other region pricing over the next couple of days. What do you think? Excited? Concerned that it won’t make it?

  • I sincerely hope this does arrive on Vita; fantastic game, honestly reminds me of Outrun and Test Drive in one. It’s all about a souped-up Porsche Spyder on Nitrous Pro, music at fall blast 🙂

I really hope the DLC makes it to the Vita.

Paul, I hereby volunteer you and make it your responsibility to arrange this with your contacts in EA.

    Just do it!

    • I second that motion.

Paul, let’s get this ball rolling. Copy us in once you have confirmation, much appreciated 🙂

      • I asked and was told it is not coming on the 18th to the Vita. 🙁

I have followed up again asking if we will see any of it. Crazy decision. It’s an outstanding game, and why give virtually the same experience as the console then mess it up by not releasing the DLC…

        • MarcoM

shame really. Thanks for trying anyway.

It’s a shame….maybe they will wait and see how many more copies they sell over the Christmas period to see whether or not it’s financially worth it for them.

Paul – I’d be interested in writing some articles for you but I cannot find your email. It says on the “about us” page contact the email listed but I cannot find it?

  • So, no DLC for the Vita then? I’m sure they would make a very good extra profit of it. I’m not gonna buy the ps3 version just for the DLC, it’s a shame actually 🙁
