We’ve covered this a bit since we first found out about it, and now the news that you keen anglers have been waiting for has finally arrived! Let’s Fish: Hooked On will finally be released on PSN next week, Tuesday in North America and Wednesday in Europe and PAL regions.

If you are after catching a few fishes in the Vita’s first full-scale fishing game it will set you back £14.99 / €19.99 / US $19.99 / AUD $24.95 depending on your region.

Developed by the team behind SEGA Bass Fishing, so you know what to expect, Let’s Fish! Hooked On invites you to tackle four challenging game modes as you take advantage of the unique capabilities Vita and cast, hook and reel numerous classes of fish, earn new lures and play through 11 themed outdoor stages on your way to becoming World Champion.

Let’s Fish! Hooked On comes with a full story mode and aims to make fishing fun for everyone.  Choosing between four different anime-styled characters, each with their own story line and unique abilities, players are challenged to improve their skills by competing in a host of progressively difficult tournaments in their bid to win the World Tour.

    I love Sega Bass Fishing. This looks so similar in level design etc to that, that it’s practically a must buy for me.

    I’m currently in the process of selling pretty much all my pre 2005 gaming stuff so to be able to replace Sega Bass is absolutely fantastic for me. My only grip is there isn’t a retail version, as I’d have gladly paid £29.99 for that! But at least unlike Earth Defense Force 2017, this has a price on release that allows me to accept it’s digital only.
