Please, Sony?

It feels annoying that we are unable to remotely play barely any PS3 games when people with custom firmware can remote play lots of stuff. The recent big hitter Ni No Kuni has been shown played remotely with custom firmware. Why won’t Sony let us do this? Hopefully they will one day allow it as it’s a feature we should have had from day one.

I'm 27 years old, and have been playing games for 20 years now, ever since Sonic and Alex Kidd on the master system. I love most types of games but I have a particular passion for music games and racing games, though Final Fantasy VII is and probably always will by my all time favourite as it's the only computer game to ever make me cry!
  • I don’t know why it is so restricted. It’s so ludicrous that something that many gamers would want to take advantage of and could shift a few units is seemingly held back deliberately.

Seeing a game like Ni No Kuni running perfectly makes me sad to know that only people with a hacked PS3 have the ability to fully utilize remote play. From what I understand, the PS3 is incapable of running most of its library simultaneously with remote play resulting in unresponsive/laggy gameplay.. However, giving us the option on the games that DO work properly should be a priority and wouldn’t make me feel like I’m being punished by not hacking my systems.
