Another hit indie title coming to the Vita? Who knew?

Well, we don’t know that much at this moment. We were alerted to the news by VG247 who themselves got it from IGN with an interview with Don Messa, who house the unfortunately long job title of Director of Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation. He told IGN:

Having [a studio] like Telltale, a very successful indie developer, coming in to support us sends a strong message

He gave an example on how the Vita could offer unique experiences with:

Again, a good example is with The Walking Dead. We think that the emotion and the immersive experiences you’re going to get there, wherever you’re sitting, if you’re in your living room and playing on your Vita or sitting at a café or at the bus stop and playing this, you get that shock or fright. I think that’s going to be important. That’s what we want to deliver as you’re playing.

Wow. Great stuff Sony and Telltale, really can’t wait for this. We will bring you more news as we have it, what do you think?

  • Avioto

Great for people who haven’t played this yet (shame on you!) 🙂
I already finished it twice on pc. It’s a classic.

  • Never played the game but I saw the thing they did with that Bald Black guy in it about to chop that guy’s leg off when he was caught in a bear trap.

  • Yes yes yes!

  • Punk

This game is incredible! Can’t wait to play it again on the Vita!

Being a fan of the show, I think I’ll have to have a go at this one.
