It’s not a whole lot to go on, but an ESRB rating suggests that the trilogy will be making its way to our lovely little handheld.

For those of you who may not know, ESRB stands for Entertainment Software Rating Board, and currently determines the US ratings stamped on each video game prior to release.  ESRB has posted a rating for the Jak and Daxter Collection at a rating of T (teen) suggesting a release in the near future. Having never had the chance to play these fantastic platformers back in the day, I would be delighted to have to opportunity to play them on my Vita’s brilliant OLED.

My name is Mike, I am 23 years old and have been gaming for as long as I can remember. I started out with one of my all-time favorites, Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES, and my passion for gaming has continued to grow ever since. I absolutely love western style RPGs. Everything from dungeon crawlers like Diablo and Torchlight, to hardcore action RPGs like Demon's Souls. I've more recently begun a foray into JRPGs with the release of P4G on the Vita, and I must say, I'm kicking myself for avoiding JRPGs my entire gaming career.
  • Isn’t the ps3 version called the trilogy? If it’s collection maybe it will include hd versions of the psp daxter too? I for one would love a chance to go trophy hunting on the games. Ratchet and Silent Hill would also be nice :’)

Nope, it’s called the Collection in the US and the Trilogy in other regions.

Looks awesome–can’t wait to get this onto my Vita.

I missed both Ratchet and Jak back in the day so I was really excited when they were both released in HD. Time constraints, however, made me pick up only one of them for my PS3 and Ratchet’s larger catalog won me over.

This fits me perfectly 🙂 .

When it comes to platform/action adventure style fare for the PS2, Jak is second only to Ratchet in my book, so this right up my alley.
