Playstation has revealed that Soul Sacrifice is getting a demo on the 16th (NA) or 17th (EU), depending on your region.

Largely anticipated, and widely praised in Japan; Soul Sacrifice finally gets a demo date in North America and Europe, aligning with this week’s PSN update. Worth noting is the fact that the Soul Sacrifice release in Japan was met with high response – selling over 110,000 copies launch week and becoming only the third Vita game to do so. It also helped to move over 63,000 Vitas that week, though there were other games driving sales at the time (Senran Kagura and Phantasy Star Online 2 were released a week prior).

Here’s looking forward to an English demo, and in less than three weeks – the retail release!

It’s about time! Many such as myself had begun to question if we would even see the demo in the west. Maybe a bit of marketing gamesmanship on the part of Sony.

By releasing it so close to the break of the full game, you keep the game on everyone’s radar increasing the chance those who fancied the bite sized SS will pick up the full Monty! ; )

I can’t wait for this game to release on May 1st in Europe, and the demo will keep me going for the 3 weeks to release. Hope it plays as good as it looks and it could be the best vita game yet !

Looks like Canada got shafted on this demo. Will have to wait and see if it’s available tomorrow.
