Not necessarily one of the words greatest kept secrets, but the Jak and Daxter trilogy is headed to the Vita this June.

The trilogy includes the same three titles that appeared on the PS3 HD remake – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2 and Jak 3. The port is taking the Vita’s touch controls into consideration and is said to utilize what the Vita has to offer in the way of mini games.

The trilogy boasts a full trophy set with 3 platinum’s to boot and will retail for €29.99.

How is the “hd quality” of this remake ? If it was like stranger’s wrath, I would love to buy it.

That’s the gotcha. They haven’t specifically said it will be a HD remake, but it will be an authentic port of the original game. I’d like to think it will be the same as Strangers Wrath was.

  • Oh yes! I’m so pleased!!!

Me too! I will finally have the opportunity to experience Jak III. The collection should really look nice on the OLED seeing that the original trio graced us with some of the best visuals the PS2 had to offer.

As a heads up, It looks like Vita owners may be graced with the Sly collection too! Gematsu is reporting that the ESRB has added a rating for a Vita version at their website!

If so, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ratchet join the club in the near future.

      • I really hope so. I’ve been wanting to relieve both series for a long time and am sure I missed one of the ratchet games. Can’t remember whether it was thw second or third though.

It’s the original ps2 games rather than HD versions, so they fit on a 4gb game card. A definite buy, I’m excited to play games I missed at the time.
