With God Eater 2 scheduled to release in Japan on November the 14th of this year, developers Namco-Bandai have decided to be rather charitable by announcing that the first three chapters of the game would be released freely to the public in the form of a demo.

Moreover, it also looks like players will be able to continue any progress made in the demo when they purchase the full version of God Eater 2 by merely transferring their save file.

It should also be noted however that while a demo for God Eater 2 is already released, this is entirely different.

No release date was set for the action role-playing-game but we do know that it is slated for both Playstation Vita as well as Playstation Portable.

It’s so awesome when companies do this for their games.

Hopefully this is a trend that will continue. It’s great when developers have the confidence and it will only help sales.

It most definitely is a gesture of good will toward the fan base, that is for sure.
