With a Best Buy listing popping up for the games release, it looks as though The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition will be ported over to the PlayStation Vita. The original game has been ported to nearly every device this generation and a Vita version was confirmed to be in development, but it is quite interesting the version gracing the Vita will be the formerly Wii U-exclusive Ultimate Edition.

The ultimate edition featured additional DLC packs as well as interesting integration of the Wii U GamePad.
Here is what the page  has included in the game under Product Features:

“Reveal the Stan Lee Adventure Pack, Lizard Rampage Pack, Rhino Challenge and Oscorp Search and Destroy Pack on your PS Vita in the The Amazing Spider-Man DLC Bundle Pack included with this Ultimate Edition

Best Buy also lists the game as releasing on November 19 2013 in North America and is currently available for pre-order.

      More or less yes.

A little late to the party, but I do enjoy me some Spider-Man, man. Now, if only someone would port over the PS2/Gamecube/XBox calssic: Ultimate Spider-Man….

    • I never played Ultimate, but I really loved Spider-man 2 on the Gamecube.

Spider-Man 2 was also awesome. I liked it a smidge more than Ultimate, but I figure Ultimate would be easier to re-release as they won’t have a movie licence to reacquire. Either way, I want some Spider-Man, and this looks to quench that thirst.
