A press release from developer nnooo has just revealed their newest game; Blast ‘Em Bunnies.

nnooo are an Australian based game developer who also developed escapeVektor for the PlayStation Vita earlier this year. Their founder Nic Watt was lead developer at EA prior to 2006 and until the development of escapeVektor, nnooo had been primarily a digital-only developer for Nintendo.

From the official press release;

Defend your burrow from a horde of evil bunnies!

Pick them off using your carrot rifle, pelt their furry hides with your watermelon pip machine gun or wreak havoc with your runner bean rail gun. Want to destroy as many of their colony as possible? Your turnip mortar will do maximum splash damage.

These crafty cottontails come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them can even fly, so you’ll need every weapon in your armoury to deal with this barbarous band of bitter bunnies. How they became evil, where they came from and who taught them to fly remains a mystery. But there’s no time to ponder these rabbit riddles, just grab your favourite weapon and…Blast ‘Em Bunnies!

The Bunnies:

There are 8 different types of evil bunny you’ll be facing off against. Each one has it’s own personal quirk so keep your eyes peeled and your trigger finger ready.

More on the game including the weapons and some more screenshots can be found at their website.

Blast ‘Em Bunnies is coming to PlayStation Vita as well as PlayStation 4 (and 3DS).

    It’s an FPS? Well, I’m intrigued. Haven’t had a good furry shooter since the war sections of Conker’s Bad Fur Day.
