More information about Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment comes from Dengeki PlayStation and Siliconera, detailing new features and progress on the title.
Hollow Fragment will reportedly have more romantic elements added regarding the main characters, even going so far as to have a method of holding hands with the game’s female heroines (uh, what?). The story is being worked on by Seven Days Way, the company that created the story for the Sword Art Online series. This is good news, since the story-line for the series was fairly top-notch – other than a few qualms I have with that last anime arc.
Dengeki PlayStation Magazine also magazine reports that Hollow Fragment will have co-op, but Namco Bandai is apparently quite hush-hush regarding the details. They are also considering a save game transfer feature for those who have the PSP game to transfer stats or in game objects (again, details are unclear at this time).
Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment releases next year in Japan, exclusive to PlayStation Vita.
We’ll keep you informed as new information becomes available, as always 😉
