Even with Pokemon being released this week, the PlayStation Vita put up a bit of a fight in Japan – selling 60,166 units and coming in second to the 3DS (which had two different units in the top two). The PSVita’s numbers were likely bolstered by the release of the PCH-2000 model, which includes a few improvements and changes over the original and went on sale this week as well.

On the software side of things two Vita games made the top ten;  Danganronpa 1-2 Reload at number five with 76,172 physical units sold and Sakatsuku: Let’s make a Pro Soccer Club! was number eight with 33,898 physical units sold this week. Danganronpa only trailed behemoths in the charts, with Pokémon X/Y, Grand Theft Auto V, Monster Hunter 4 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles making up the top four respectively.

Not bad, PSVita – now show us what you’ve really got.

They sold more hardware in a week than Ubisoft sold Rayman Legends in a month (Vita)

I imagine Vita players are waiting on Ubisoft to patch in the ‘missing’, AKA: Left out, levels.
