Leading up to the release of the PlayStation 4 Sony have been found flaunting and teasing remote play using launch title Knack, but the details about the functionality were always murky at best. Often when the demonstrations concluded fans were still left pondering the full functionality of the service. In an effort to put those questions to bed Sony showed off remote play at Brasil Game Show in Sao Paulo using Knack once more, the difference was that this time they showed the game running on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita at the same time.

Watching two different people actively involved in playing the next-gen title in sync across multiple platforms is truly a marvel for the eyes to see. The buzz word at the keynote was “couch co-op redefined” and it’s a term that you should prepare yourself to hear more often moving forward as it eloquently describes the experience.

Cool. I wonder how it would run on my network or over the internet. Obviously, Sony’s using the most optimal connection…
