It’s time to break out the celebratory vodka because Ukrainian developers Beatshapers has brought Furmins to PlayStation Vita. The port of the iOS hit created by Super Stardust Delta developers Housemarque is available today on the PlayStation Store in Europe at the price of  £5.45, and will be followed by a North American release sometime in November.

Furmins for PS Vita finds players attempting to guide a bunch of adorable and lovable creatures across cunningly designed levels by rearranging a variety of items as well as using bumpers and conveyor belts in real-time with well-coordinated precision. Their quest – to travel across the length of their world to wake up their King who has fallen asleep, rolled over a river forming an impromptu dam, blocking their flow of water and threatening their very existence! Strategically placed items create pathways and physical chain reactions, which guide the furmins to the basket and level completion.

The PS Vita version isn’t a straight port thought as it features some key additions exclusive to PlayStation hardware such as the ability to play using both the touchscreen and the rear touch, a new scoring system and “per-world scoreboards with filters(overall, friends, your score).

It’s safe to say that with the release of Furmins on PlayStation Vita, Europe just got a bit cuter.
