A new Kickstarter project just surfaced with a goal of £390,000, running for 60 days.
The game is called Remember? and will be an RPG by Deluxe Games – they describe it as;
“A RPG style Game, a story of how an assassin had been torn apart from the one he once served, and the discovery of the truth.”
…but what is an RPG without as story?
This is a story of how a assassin once worked with a corrupt assassin guild, who wanted you dead for knowing how corrupt the guild was. A rich noble (One of the assassins) stole a large quantity of priceless items claimed by the assassins, and it was up to you to stop the noble as everyone else had been murdered. While you were chasing the noble, one of his henchmen pushed you off your horse, resulting in you falling off and hitting your head against a rock. You fall unconscious, brain damaged too. You wake up in a prison, later finding out you are to be killed by a guillotine. Before having your head chopped off, the henchmen pay a visit to the prison to kill you, as they still think you know about the corruption. You manage to take cover and hide, and while you are hiding and the henchmen are looking for you, one of then is oblivious of your location, and you get a sudden flashback, in a sepia coloured vision, you go back in time to your first silent assassination. once completed, you go back to the games time, and kill the henchman, and take his clothing and sword. Disguised as the enemy, you manage to escape the prison. Once outside, you get a flashback of where you fell off your horse. What you do next is your story to be told.
About The game:
·Free roam- roam around the open game, going to cities, travel through forests, and so forth…
·Trading- a game without the function of collecting things, trading things and discovering new things is just plain boring. usually. This includes swords, bows, arrows, food, ok, I’m too lazy to list the other many hundreds of possibilities, so I hope you get the idea of what we mean.
·quests- The main quest is to get your knowledge back via your flashbacks, doing so gives you new skills and parts of your memory back, unlocking new side quests and activities for you to do.
·skills- even though you get skills from flashbacks, that doesn’t mean you cant learn them. By reading books, doing activities, missions, and many more possibilities of gaining skills.
