Could it be a Vita game still in development?

Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix has long been rumoured to be a Playstation Vita game in development, though Ubisoft has always denied this. At one point XtraLife a Spanish retailer even had this listing on their site as a Vita exclusive, though it was subsequently removed with no comment from Ubisoft.

Well, it could still be a Vita game in development. An eagle eyed gamer took a photo of this:

It’s taken from a modern day section in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. It almost certainly proves something is in development and happening.

Have Ubisoft created a Vita game and shifted it to multiplatform? Is there a Vita exclusive in the works that has been delayed? Let us know what you think in the comments.

I'm 27 years old, and have been playing games for 20 years now, ever since Sonic and Alex Kidd on the master system. I love most types of games but I have a particular passion for music games and racing games, though Final Fantasy VII is and probably always will by my all time favourite as it's the only computer game to ever make me cry!

I’m in a dilemma here because as far as I would like to have an exclusive AC for the Vita (noted I haven’t said “another” exclusive because the one exiting just went multiplatform) I don’t like the fact that they insist to put online on AC series these days which I don’t like.

Of course you may say “then don’t play online” which makes sense but in my opinion the time they put into developing the online its time taken from the single player which will probbaly make it not much as good as it should be in every way and the Vita deservs a top quality AC tittle that doesn’t have to have online, making it more beautiful, with more hours on SP campaign and as much flawless as possible.

I know many will disagree but it’s just my opinion.

I will be honest, I dont care AC on Vita. But Child of Light on Vita will be 0_0

    Sounds good.

I expect most Vita exclusives to get ported to consoles a year after release – it certainly makes sense in terms of allowing developers to make more money back.

It’d be nice. Rising Phoenix… perhaps a title taking place in Japan?
