Akiba’s Trip 2 is a game that’s design boils down to beating down demons-who look like girls-out of their clothing. If that wasn’t wacky enough, based on the latest information it seems that developer Acquire have somehow managed to out do themselves.

While we have seen billboards in Akiba’s Trip 2 that have displayed Prinny from Disgaea fame, it turns out that the NIS icon will also appear as some sort of weapon or object in the game which can be used to forcibly disrobe enemies.

What’s that? Not crazy enough?

Akiba’s Trip 2 will also feature post-game unlocks that will allow players to play with the conventions of the title, and some of them are off the charts wacky. As if stripping characters wasn’t enough, there are options to turn the game’s population’s clothing transparent, and even transform them into giants or children.

To be fair the developers have also announced a set of free bonus costumes that will be made available, including white knight armor based upon Ragnarok Odyssey Ace (which you can see below); but let’s be honest – the wackier stuff is more interesting.

Akiba’s Trip 2 is available as of today in Japan.

So correct me if I’m wrong but the point in this game is to enter street fights and strip the opponent? This is weird but the graphics look cool :p

Yes, but only to expose the demons to sunlight. Which I guess.. is as good of a reason as any.

    Should have called Akiba Strips

      I think that’s the joke – Akiba’S trip 2… Akiba Strip 2.

The re-creation of Akihabara actually has me considering this as it sounds really interesting, shame it’s not a budget ‘explore and collect’ thing rather than stripping people.

As if i needed an excuse to want to take the clothes off of ladies. Well, at least in video games I do…
