The release date for fan-favourite digging-simulator Terraria has been revealed.

Fans can dig into Terrarria for PlayStation Vita on December 4, 2013. The news was planted directly beside a recent report by MCV UK that unearthed information about a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita bundle.

Terarria is 2D action-adventure game that is most often compared to Minecraft in that it provides a procedurally generated world for players to explore.

Terarria will launch on December 4, 2013 for PlayStation Vita and will come boasting Cross-Play functionality.

Great news – although it will probably be delayed in Europe till next year. Shame it’s not cross buy or they have a deal on if you already own it on the PS3.

There are a lot of releases for Vita in 4th December: Rainbow Moon, Stick it to the Man, this… Now, who says Vita has no games?

Brian, the report link in the article leads to the TVL’s PSV & PS4 bundle article. Just a heads up.

Cross-play as in Steam and Vita, or Vita/PS3?
I bought the game last night, and its pretty nice!
Glad its finally coming out for the Vita! 😀

I skipped out on the PS3 version because I prefer to play the game on Vita, but it’s been such a long wait since then that I keep forgetting about this game. Glad to finally see something solid about a release.

Since this was in UK magazine, does this mean this it’s only certain for EU at the moment, or can we expect it to hit NA around the same time?
