After what could be described as a surprising string of Persona-related announcements, Atlus have revealed that Persona 4 Dancing All Night will be coming to PlayStation Vita.

Not much is known about the title other than that it will be created by Atlus in collaboration with Project Diva developer Dingo, and will feature characters from the popular title dancing as players attempt to use the inputs of the Vita to maintain a rhythm.

Look for Persona 4: Dancing All Night in Fall of 2014 in Japan.

Rofl. Not what a lot of people were expecting I’m sure. But still, I’ll be happy to play it 🙂

    • Brian Sharon

As soon as I saw it appear on the stream I thought to myself “Jon’s going to love this!”.

  • Trent Berlinger

A Persona 4 Rhythm game. How interesting and, um…different? I’ll definitely play it, but not what I was expecting at all.

meanwhile the 3ds gets persona q

  • Aaron

Im annoyed we supported them by buying P4G,then they go and give a potentially interesting persona game (a p3 and p4 team up) to 3ds.Aaah Im pissed.

  • WhyWai

err… I guess no one asked for this. not even in Japan..

  • XtemmA2

    Cool. I like Miku and i love P4 music/ost. P5G can wait.

Look Atlus–if you want to release Persona onto the 3DS (–and break my heart–), fine. I get it: larger install base, better sales, cross-over with your existing team’s skill-sets– it makes sense.

But really–you couldn’t then just port THAT game over to the Vita? I mean, sure–IN THEORY getting a Vita-exclusive is BETTER for my system of choice. We get our own game that nobody else has. But not when that games a RHYTHM GAME.

And I understand that Atlus is a Japanese company and that rhythm games are more popular over there. I understand that a lot of people DO like rhythm games. I even understand that this will likely be pretty successful for Atlus!

But…I want a REAL Persona for the Vita. Not…fluff (however well made that fluff turns out to be).

Persona Q isnt really a persona game, its a Etrian odyssey with Persona Character.
This is something that the Q hints at.

Sekaiju no MeiQ is the japanese name of the series, do you see any similarities in the title.

Further more the literal titel of Sekaiju no MeiQ is Labyrinth of Yggdrasil, and how is pq called?

      Right Labyrinth of Shadows.

So all in all its a Entry into the Sekaiju no MeiQ series and should be regarded as such.

And this series is nintendo based, fanbase wise.

      so it makes sense.

I’m not really sure how to feel about this game and I’m a fan of P4G…
