Time to don your purple tights Europe because all of your favourite DC Comics super heroes and villains are hitting store shelves today as Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is now available.

Developed by fighting-game veterans NetherRealm Studios, published by W.B. Games, and ported by Armature Studio; Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fully-loaded edition of the hit fighting game that originally graced the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, and Wii U earlier this year.

Included in the Ultimate Edition is every single piece of DLC release for the game during its lifetime on other platforms. For those keeping score that is 47 DLC skins, 6 DLC characters, and 60 S.T.A.R. lab missions.  With a package this much content, it might just warrant a second purchase for those who got into the action on consoles.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is available now for PlayStation Vita.

It’s a great game, though I wish Armature decided to sacrifice the background level animations/destruction in order to make the character models look better. They use high polygon count models during the cut scenes (AKA: super movers, intro/outro, screen transitions) but once those are over they go to these horrible looking models with little detail. I understand that in the heat of battle, you don’t notice that, but it does make me not want to show my friends because it looks bad. I really wish they went the Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 route and used still backgrounds with just the interactable bits modeled and the transitions in tact. Oh well. Still having fun with it.
