Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has announced the official list of winners at 2013’s PlayStation Awards.

The awards are issued based on Japanese sales figures between November 1, 2012 and October 3,2013. The Platinum prize is given out to the game that shipped over one-million units during that span (both retail and digital). The Gold prize is awarded to games that managed to ship over 500,000 copies. Additionally there are User Choice prizes and a Special Prize which is awarded to games that display originality.

    So basically Killzone managed to earn IGN’s Best Vita game of 2013 but still couldn’t hit the 500k mark? It’s the best goddamn FPS game for the handheld! Also, Assassins Creed Liberation should have received the golden prize, I read somewhere it sold 600k copies! The Vita really needs a lot of adopters, I see.
