The latest gameplay trailer for Sega’s cross-over puzzle game Puyo Puyo Tetris shows how seamless the experience can be.

Watching the trailer we gets a longer look at the previously announced “Swap Rule“, which tasks players with keeping up with the action as it swaps between Puyo Puyo and Tetris fields every 25 seconds.

Important to watch is how fluid gameplay is considering the change of both gamplay, and aesthetics. Going from the cheerful table of Puyo Puyo to one of Tetris, complete with imagery of St. Basil’s Cathedral and the iconic Russian tune of Kalinka, is quite impressive.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is set to release on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, Wii U and 3DS on February 6, 2014 in Japan.
