Gaijin games announce that their popular BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien will be hitting the PlayStation Store next week for Vita, in both North America and Europe.

Dant Rambo (awesome name, by the way!) from Gaijin announces that on the 17th in North America and the 18th in Europe, you’ll be able to join in the run. In North America you can pick BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien up for $9.99 next week ($7.99 on PS+) and in Europe it’ll be €6.99. They’re also releasing The Good Friends Character Pack DLC, which will be $2.99 in North America ($2.09 on PS+) and €1.99 in Europe.

Here’s a trailer to get you excited;

The trophies and leaderboards will be separate and there’ll be no cross-buy and no demo (other than on Best Buy kiosks, for some reason), however if you have a PlayStation 3 there’s a demo there to try.

    Kyle, it won’t be cross-buy as they are published by different companies…

    On the news itself, the game’s price’s a bargain. 7€ makes this game a steal, specially given the high price points of other games of less quality. There’s no demo, but if you have a PS3, 360 or Wii U, there are demos to test out there (it’s a port so there’s no difference anyway).

      My bad, miscommunication. 🙂 Thanks for pointing that out.

    Any news on the Sterling price? I’m hoping e6.99 is £5.99 or less.

      Given other games released at 7€ (for example Puddle) the game price should be around 5.50 pounds. But wait for official confirmation in the Store Update post.
