According to Games in Asia the PlayStation Vita TV is coming to Taiwan and the Phillipines this January and we’ve got the pricing.

Games in Asia is reporting that on January 14th you’ll be able to pick up either a base PSVita TV or a PSVita TV bundled with a DualShock 3 in either Taiwan or the Phillipines – the first time the console is to be sold outside Japan.

Pricing on the no-controller version is THB 4,590 (~$143 US) in Taiwan and 5,999 PHP (~$136 US) for those in the Phillipines, while the with-controller bundles come in at THB 6,790 (~$212 US) and 8,599 PHP (~$195 US) respectively.

The Phillipines is also getting the PCH-2XXX model of the Vita on the 16th of January for 11,999 PHP (~$272 US), also the first time it’ll be sold outside Japan.


Three more countries getting the same treatment on the 14th;

Singapore: Standard – SGD149 / Value Pack – SGD219
Malaysia: Standard – MYR469 / Value Pack – MYR689
Indonesia: Standard – IDR2,599,000 / Value Pack – IDR2,599,000

Good news for those regions, but no word on any other release regions.

    I spent the day playing Spyro with my daughter yesterday. All I kept thinking was how perfect a VitaTV would be for days like this. Over the years I’ve built up a sizable library of PS1, PSP, and PSV games that would all be perfect to play on a big screen Plus the Vita can play MP3’s and stream music from my computer so it’s obviously more powerful than my PS4. 🙂
