Namco Bandai recently teased a new Digimon title and now Siliconera (via Jump) has a bit more information.

Digimon Story is currently in development for the PlayStation Vita and is slated to release in Japan over a year from now in 2015. The game is a training RPG set in the near future and the picture above is a screen from an early build.

A trailer for Digimon Story will apparently be shown during Jump Festa this weekend, so check back with us then if you’re interested.

Digimon! I hope they make it more like Digimon World 3 than like the remake for Digimon World 1…

I’ve never played a Digimon game but I remember watching the very first series back in high school. I’d definitely like to play this, as I’m not a fan of the Pokemon games. Great to hear this game is heading for the Vita. The kind of game the console needs on both sides of the planet.
