Geez…Vita indeed is in trouble, literally. Been following it since September and still got no ‘must-buy’ game. Sad. So much potential ruined by greedy decisions on Sony’s part. Plus there’s the fact this handheld features games of yesterday which are funny so people buy it. And then the bugs show up (AC: Liberation). You write an email detailing all the bugs found in-game so deeply that you even bother mentioning how to trigger it and ask for an update, just to end up reading that there’s no update coming because this is an old game; And then the multiplayer sucks because almost nobody is online to play with (NFS: MW); And then you realize the only games you think it’s cool is because it was made by Sony. Because….no other dev cared (most of Vita games that made an impact and got some sales were made by Sony this year). Frustration takes place so before you jump off the Vita ship, you decide to give it a last try and look for something worth spending your money and time on. No games (already played Killzone, Virtua Tennis and PS All Stars until I got sick of it. Not a huge RPG/jRPG fan). The problem is, Vita woke up too late and it’s getting smoked by the 3DS. You don’t see any news stating a developer has given up on it because a) it’s not news at all and b) they’ve ALREADY given up on it since early 2013. The reflection of that is Vita’s poor library of games. If only American/French developers would have the BALLS to develop something on to the handheld just for the sake of gamers like Japanese Devs do, but instead, they keep playing pussy.

Personally my Vita has been a God-send, so I guess it depends on what games you like. It sucks that you’ve got nothing to play but I’ve got so many games that there’s codes sitting reclaimed but unused on my Vita. Hell, my Vita backlog is bigger than my PS3 one ever was and I play it ten times more!

If you can’t find any games that hook you though, maybe you should have bought another console – or you should trade that one in. It sucks, but there’s no use having something that you don’t play right? I’m sure someone would love to buy your Vita at a discount and dive in, especially if you have all these great games you don’t care for.

While I agree a console could have been a better choice instead of the PSVita, my daily routine and my business keep me from sitting around and playing in front of the TV. Either I take something with me for the free time or I play no games at all. Sick of IAP-based-mini-games for android already. I’m not giving up on Vita nor I understand why Sony seems to already have. It just doesn’t make any sense to me, it’s as if Sony made a whole new portable console, but for what? To serve the PS4 as ‘part of it’? Plus there’s the fact the Vita TV is just around the corner; Tell you what, when a handheld loses its main purpose and its identity is in crisis, it means the said handheld is condemned. It may not be that crazy to think that in the near future, the PSVita is losing not only against the 3DS but also for the PSV TV. It’s all a matter of support. Again (Just speculating). Still, I’m not giving up on it. I know some android game devs have plans for it and I’m hoping my expectations will come true. As for AAA games, well..not gonna happen. I don’t care about it, I just care about MORE games to play. That’s why I’m gonna start digging through the PSMobile and Indie sections and see what I come up with (fingers crossed).
