Thanks to a little no-card-needed Augmented Reality, the Vita version of Project Diva F 2nd will let Miku have a concert anywhere you want her to.

A post on Siliconera has alerted us to a cool feature they’ve crammed into the Vita version of Miku Hatsune: Project Diva F 2nd – cardless Augmented Reality concerts. You can have Miku and friends perform a concert anywhere you like using Augmented Reality to allow them to appear (through the Vita screen) in the real world.

Here’s an example shot;

You can choose from eight different songs for her to perform; all chosen from the Magical Miku 2013 concert. Not bad, though they could always expand that with DLC for all you Miku fans I suppose.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd releases March 6th in Japan.

    Anybody else see this feature getting ‘abused’ somehow?

    • Kyle Wakeling

      Not really sure how you’d abuse this, unless you mean putting Miku in weird places and then taking screenshots – then I can see it becoming a meme, which is abuse on my eyes. haha

      The first Project Diva f for Vita has also an AR-Feature. If you move the camera or the vocaloid in a way that you would peek under the skirt, the vocaloid will be replaced with a warning sign. (Happened to me accidentially 🙂

  • Oh, that is so cool! I hope the first Project Diva F does well so this one will get localized as well 🙂
