Are you ready to reopen the Vault?

Since the game was announced to be heading to the PlayStation Vita, there has not been much news from developer Iron Galaxy Studios (of Divekick fame) or publisher Sony regarding the much anticipated launch of the first-person shooting and looting game.

Even though we should not take retailer listings as gospel (with many of them being placeholders) NewEgg.com have recently put up a product page for Borderlands 2 for the Vita, with a release date of Tuesday the 18th of March and priced at $39.99. The listing has no mention of any Vita specific features, nor does it mention any inclusion of the DLC content that has been released for the console versions.

Are you excited to return to Pandora? For any news regarding the game and any updates concerning the release date, we will be sure to keep you posted.

I personally hope it doesn’t come out till April.
February and March are too jam packed…

  • Darkologia

Am really looking forward to B2 on Vita but March is really not a good timing too many games coming out at that period

  • darkknezz

I hope it comes with the DLC, Cross Save and/or Cross Play

  • I really can’t wait for this; I know I am probably in the minority of those that did not buy it on the consoles deliberately waiting for this, but I hope I’m not the only one that buys it…

Putting it on PS3 PlayStation Plus so close to the Vita release (if the date is true) is very, very short sighted. (Obviously for those with a Vita/PS3)

Agreed. I have NO idea why they released the PS3 version on PS+ when this was such an important title for the Vita. It’s probably the biggest title we know about in 2014…

Frankly, I just can’t see this selling that well considering a lot of people with Vitas JUST got access to the entire game on their PS3s just a few months earlier.

  • I feel like this is too early… I hope its not accurate id be highly suprised if they were already this close to release… I want a solid glitch free port đŸ˜€

March 18th? That’s my birthday. YES PLEASE!

Never liked this game but you can’t help notice the visual similarity with “XIII” which was released on PC and PS2. Now that would be great to re-release on the PS Vita.

I never bought this on console just to get it on vita. Hopefully it includes all downloadable content and then some for the portable edition. I’m excited for this.

Toukiden, Battle of Z, Dynasty Warriors 8… duh and now this!
