After being announced for a Summer 2013 release on PlayStation Vita, it has been more than six-months since developer Psychoz Interactive announced that they would be releasing the survival-horror title Forgotten Memories for Sony’s handheld. Moving into 2014, there has been minimal information about the title and it’s future on PlayStation hardware; that is until until now.
According to the Psychoz, they are currently in the process of finalizing the Pilot Episode of Forgotten Memories. Given the early-stage in the process they could not offer a release date just yet, but did express their plans for a Q1 2014 release on PSN.
Forgotten Memories takes place in an old isolated hospital that was built in 1910, and then closed down in 1979. You play as the clever Rose Hawkins, an inspector trying to solve a murder, as well as searching for a missing girl at the same time. She’ll also be joined by her partner and the girl she’s been searching for.
The game is described as mix between both classic, and modern survival horror games; with a heavy emphasis on teamwork.
We will have more in the near future regarding Forgotten Memories.
