Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds gets pushed back two weeks in Japan, according to Siliconera.
Battle Grounds is actually a spin-off of 2011’s Phantom Breaker – a 2D fighting game developed and published by 5pb. This new version is a side-scrolling beat ’em up in which players play as deformed versions of the original’s characters who fight large groups of ninjas.
Originally set to release on February 13th, the Vita version of this beat ’em up side-scroller is now set to release to Japanese consumers on February 27th. Though a Western release is planned and the game is already localized due to hitting X-Box 360 in the past, there’s no set date for release outside Japan – so no need to worry if that’s pushed back (haha).
Keep tuned to The Vita Lounge for more information as it develops.
