Developer BEARCOWBOY has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for their retro-inspired twin-stick shooter, Charlotte Seeker.

The comically named studio has set its base goal at a reasonable $8,000, which would result in a release on PC, Mac and Linux. However should the title receive funding of 20,000 or more, it will find itself on PlayStation Vita by way of a relatively small stretch goal.

Part twin-stick shooter, part roguelike; Charlotte Seeker plans to put the hell in “bullet hell”. The game’s difficulty is said to match its pace and mechanics, with success providing “an immense amount of satisfaction.”. As with most shooters of this kin, the game will also have a strong focus on points and multipliers, offering incentive for even the most hardened of veterans.
