Bandai Namco’s upcoming anime adaptation, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment for PlayStation Vita, will allow you to import select data from the PSP entry in the franchise,  Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment.

In addition to allowing players to carry over certain aspects of their progress, such as skill points and character information; those who have completed Infinity Moment and transfer their file will be able to unlock bonus items in Hollow Fragment.

Here is the list of transferable data according to Siliconera:

  • Player skill proficiency and skill points.
  • NPC skill settings (can also be reset for skill points).
  • NPC equipment (only what they’re currently wearing) and items.
  • AI information of other players.
  • Heroine character’s AI information.
  • Galleries
  • The “Remains Heart” sword, arguably the strongest sword in the game.
  • Bonus accessory, for those who completed Sword Art online: Infinity Moment.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is slated for an April 24th release in Japan.

  • Lester Paredes

    That’s actually pretty cool.

  • Chrome

Wait how does that work? Infinity moment was a PSP game. Or is hollow fragment for both vita/PSP?

    • Kyle Wakeling

Infinity Moment was a PSP game and you can transfer data from it (I’m assuming the digital version from the store) to the Vita game when it releases.

  • DARN IT! When I saw this on the front page I was like LOCALIZATION…. wait nope 🙁 but this is good news for those that have the psp game 🙂
