Atlus has announced in a press release that they will be bringing Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars to Europe in Q2 of this year.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Conception II is an RPG that will see you juggle relationships with seven heroines, battling monsters to save the world and trying to figure out your characters role with the overseeing AngelMarker Industries. All in a day’s work eh?

In a press releases, Atlus describe that “In Conception II players are “God’s Gift” – a human teenager bestowed with the blessings of the Star God with power levels that are off the charts. His Ether is the only thing in the world that allows him and his fellow classmates to enter and fight the evil contained within Dusk Circles – monster-filled labyrinths that threaten human existence. To aid him in labyrinths, his power allows him to create Star Children. But only by maintaining relationships with the game’s heroines will players be able to create an army of better, stronger, faster Star Children with suitable elemental powers. The complex elements of managing relationships are only matched by the intricate combat systems, where positioning, attack chains, and combos are vital for survival.

The game is already penned in for a release in North America on the 15th April, with the European version now confirmed as a download-only title via the PlayStation Network.

For further details and pre-orders, there is an official website for the game which can be found here.

really suprised Atlus USA is doing it them self.

It sucks that it’s download only. A full-priced game is a hard enough purchase to contemplate in today’s economy, let alone a digital copy that you’re downloading and getting nothing physical. I wonder if it’s part of some sort of test to see how digital only sales will do?

Is it coming as retail in the USA? I’ll import tbh, rather pay an extra fiver and get a physical copy.
