Modnation Racers is one of those games that I loved that seemed to get panned in reviews when it was released. The main complaint was that it didn’t feature online racing, which to me was just fine. Looking back, since so few people bought a Vita, and fewer still bought this game, the online would just have been a lonely wasteland. What I loved most was that even though it had the occasional frame-rate issue, it had really good controls. If you’ve ever played the PSP Modnation game, you know how bad controls can ruin the entire experience.
I really hope they make another one somewhere down the road. I doubt it, but I hope.
