Capcom has released the launch trailer for the console edition of their janitorial platformer, Dustforce.

Originally released on PC and Mac, the game from Hitbox Team has made its way on to home consoles; as well as PlayStation Vita.

While the port is indeed the full-package and what you would come to expect in regards to a translation from the original, the PlayStation editions come sporting some brand-new features. On PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 Dustforce supports both cross-play and cross-save functionality, as well as adding those precious trophies.

The retro-style platformer arrives sporting 56 single-player levels and 10 multiplayer levels right off the bat, however 100 additional maps will be added as free downloads shortly after release.

Dustforce is available now for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I bought this today. Never played it before. I’m still on the fence with it. The controls are a bit frustrating. Especially pushing up to sweep a ceiling. It’s very hit and miss. Breaks the flow. It’s possible it’s just me so I’ll give it another go tomorow. Great graphics and an original set up.

An honest thanks for sharing your impressions. I was on the fence about getting this but it looks like I may end up holding off and getting OlliOlli instead to save myself from frustration or whatevs.

        Olliolli is great.

I enjoyed the trailer last night but not too certain about the game as I don’t know if I have the dexterity to get much out of this one. It looks great if you have the skill though!

Personally I’ll wait for a sale.

  • I was so excited to get this game but for the life of me I can’t get the wallrun to work. I have no idea why he usually just slides back down the wall while I’m hitting up.
