Sony Santa Monica Studios have today confirmed that the God of War Collection will be assaulting the PlayStation Vita on May 6th.

Announced last year, the God of War Collection sees Kratos’ original PlayStation 2 adventures bundled together into one $29.99 MSRP double pack which no doubt will be a hit with fans of the series. Cory Barlog of Sony Santa Monica Studios posted the details to the US PlayStation Blog a short while ago.

Alongside the release date, two images of the game were revealed, which you can see below.

The game has also been confirmed for a European release on the 8th May. For those that want to keep up with Kratos, be sure to keep your eyes locked to The Vita Lounge.

Meh. I’ve already bought these games 3 times (PS2, God of War Collection, God of War Saga) I don’t think I’ll buy them yet again. Maybe if the price is cheap enough…

Awesome. I’ll definitely be picking this up.

  • Day 1 Purchase, for sure. I love the God of War games and haven’t played the first two in a long time.
