Curve Studios has announced MouseCraft, a brand-new indie puzzle game for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Blending some classic and familiar mechanics from puzzle games of yore, such as Tetris and Lemmings, MouseCraft puts you in control of Tetromino-like blocks in order to aid indirectly controlled mice throughout the campaign’s over 50 levels. As may expect, the deeper you dive into the game, the harder it will become. You will be introduced to different blocks that will help your mice avoid obstacles, defeat enemies and create new paths.

Additionally the game will come bearing leaderboards, a ranking system, collectables and “a fully-featured level editor available during launch” according to a post on the Official PlayStation Blog by Curve Studios PR and Marketing Manager Rob Clarke.

MouseCraft will be the first Curve Studios title that launches on PlayStation platforms and PC simultaneously, with the PS Vita version releasing in May, and a PlayStation 4 version becoming available in the summer.

Tetris crossed with Lemmings? Sounds interesting.

Looks cool. I love Curve’s games on the whole. Is this their own IP rather than a port?
