NIS America has announced that Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited for PlayStation Vita will launch in North America and Europe this Summer.

Originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2011, the Vita version launched in Japan earlier this year as an enhanced port of the original. A Promise Revisited has new scenarios that bring more back-story to some of the game’s characters. This enhanced version includes new characters, new spells, techniques, and all of the DLC that was available for the original on PlayStation 3.

Look for Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited to release this August, and stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for more information as we acquire it.

  • So very excited that this is coming West, along with the other localization announcements NISA made a few minutes ago. Gotta go finish Disgaea 3 for the Vita soon.

Last time I checked, this game was 4th in the Japanese game charts. Doing well over here.

Whoo! More SRPG Goodness! I really should beat the games though… I always start and then stop and then start over! I have no follow through, the shame, the shame.

Great news. I beat Disgaea 3’s main story mode but not the extra parts. A definite pre-order.
