Creator Mike Bithell has released five new screenshots for his upcoming stealth title, Volume.

The new images of depict scenes of tension-ridden action, as well as offer an intimate look at the progression that some of the game’s character models have gone through since we last saw them, including that of protagonist Robert Locksley.

Volume is Bithell’s follow up to his hit indie title Thomas Was Alone and is the expression of his early fascination with Robin Hood stories as a child. While the game is admittedly much different than his previous creation, it does see the developer reuniting with BAFTA winning narrator Danny Wallace, as well as some new faces such as YouTube sensation Charlie McDonnell, who stars as the heroic Robert himself.

Volume is set to debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Can’t wait for this to release, Thomas Was Alone was great and this looks to be even better. 🙂

Making good progress since it was last shown. Now I feel bad for never playing Thomas Was Alone…

This is the game I bought Thomas was alone to support (and later donated for a humble bundle with him in it) I’m looking forward to it 🙂 I love Indie Developers, so much work, so many ideas 🙂

One of the most promising things to me is that Bithell chose to reunite with Danny Wallace on the project.
