Since it’s important to work a a team in Freedom Wars, Sony is adding a feature that should help more people communicate; text-to-speech functionality.

Text-to-speech should allow more communication by giving users who can’t talk (but can type) a way to communicate in-game. Using a piece of software called RubyTalk, the game will translate text into a vocal representation which should sound like a human voice (though often comes across a bit robotic).

Original source Famitsu also reports that RubyTalk supports English, which is a good sign since we’re still hoping the title will make the migration West.

Freedom Wars is currently slated for a Summer release in Japan.

That’s interesting. But how fast can you type?
