Honeyslug has released a new trailer showcasing the Fun Fair level for their abstract and genre-bending title Hohokum.

The newly-revealed video is not only  a celebration of the game’s joyful and vibrant visuals, but it also pushes Hohokum’s original music to the forefront, offering a sneak peak as to the magic melodies that will penetrate the player’s ear drums.

Musicians Ben Benjamin and Scott Hansen (Tycho) have contributed to the unique soundtrack, with Hansen’s song “L” serving as the backdrop for the track that accompanies the Fun Fair area of the game.

“I was just blown away by how different it was; I’d never seen anything like it. I was very taken with the color spaces and forms, the whole environment felt like a lucid dream.” said Hansen regarding his initial impressions on the Official PlayStation Blog.

The terrific tunes have been delivered in collaboration with American independent record label Ghostly International which will see licensed and original creations lent to the game.

Hohokum slithers onto PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2014.

Still confused on what you actually do in the game, but it sure does look bright and colorful and peaceful.
