The PlayStation Vita sequel to Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is set to release in just a few short months in Japan.

Picking up where the first game left off with protagonist Ayumi Shinozaki, Corpse Party: Blood Drive will include exploration elements similar to those in the first game, except this time the game will be in 3D. Other returning characters include Naomi Nakashima, Magari Mizuki, and Aiko Niwa.

It has also been reported that Corpse Party manga artist Makoto Kedouin’s work will be featured at the end of the game.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is apparently around 70% complete, and is set to release on July 24th in Japan. The standard edition will be priced at 6,800 yen (~$67 US) and a limited edition set at a slightly more hefty 8,800 yen (~$87 US).

Man, Corpse Party had some wicked sound design. Walking around the school I could hear whispers that sounded like they were right behind me and loads of other creepy stuff. Get some headphones, cuz dat stuff is scarey!
