Bandai Namco has revealed that One Piece: Unlimited World Red will launch later this year on PlayStation Vita with a new, exclusive storyline and original characters designed by series creator Eiichiro Oda.

Announced for a release in Europe and Australia last week, Bandai Namco also unveiled a whole host of new screenshots and some artwork for the game along with details of two new characters;

Pato – a cheerful, yet mysterious, raccoon, who possesses shadowy power to create anything drawn onto a leaf

The Red Count – who had escaped the lower depths of Impel Down two years ago.

With no confirmed release date as of yet for the game, The Vita Lounge will have all the updates and news regarding One Piece: Unlimited Word Red for you. Until then, here are the rest of the new screenshots for you to enjoy;

    Looks interesting. I’ve always wanted to learn more about One Piece, but the horrible dub for tv that Cartoon Network brought over murdered my interest. lol. A friend of mine tells me it’s good, just avoid that like the plague.
