The second LEGO Ninjago game is set to hit PlayStation Vita this Summer.

Developed by Hellbent Games (in partnership with TT Games), this latest LEGO entry delivers a “high-kicking action oriented gameplay experience” based on the LEGO Ninjago TV show and toy theme.

Here’s a quote from the press release;

“It’s been over two years since we introduced our first LEGO Ninjago game, and we are excited to bring the series back for our fans with LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Young gamers will have loads of fun playing as their favorite Ninja, and we’re introducing new characters and new villains – it’s the ultimate Ninja action game for kids!”

LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is set to feature thirty action-packed levels which follow key plot points from the “LEGO Ninjago Rebooted” animated television series. In the game, the player must use special moves, combo attacks and secret weapons like “Technoblades” to hack into computers, solve puzzles and defend New Ninjago City from the Overlord’s Nindroid army.

  • I’ve always been a bit of a Lego game whore, so I’ll keep an eye on this. I still need to pick up The Lego Movie.

      They’re all ports from the 3DS rather than the console, so temper your expectations accordingly.

    I love the Ninjago toys and Show! Basically, if you like the product it’s based on, you’ll probably enjoy the game. I am a huge fan of the Lego Moive, so even though I know the Vita game is the 3DS version, I still had fun. Disappointed in it’s inability to take advantage of the system, but still happy to spend time with Emmet and co.

    I am soo fucking tired of Lego games of Vita beeing just ports of the simpletone 3DS

    LEGO games are the biggest disappiontment on the Vita, I love them normally but these crappy 3DS/iPhone ports just will not do. I wish people would stop buying them so they might start thinking about proper Vita LEGO games.
