We’ve got your April PlayStation Plus content preview right here, my friends – for both North America and Europe.

North America

This month North Americans get not only a great shooter with Velocity Ultra and one of the best tower defense games with PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD, but also Stealth Inc via the magic of cross-buy. Another month, another win for those subscribing to Plus – have a look at in-game screens, descriptions from the PlayStation Blog and jump to our reviews of the games below.

Stealth Inc.; A Clone in the Dark (via Cross-Buy)

“Stealth Inc is a fast-paced stealth platformer featuring brutal hazards, ruthless enemies, fiendish puzzles and red pixels galore. Jump, sneak, and be chunked through 80 levels. Will you make it out alive? Armed with only your wits and a pair of top of the range Stealthing Goggles, it’s your job to sneak your way through a deadly facility that’s determined to extinguish your fragile little life. With no weapons and no armour, being seen means instant death.”

Velocity Ultra

(Our Review Here)

“Featuring a new anime-influenced art style, touch screen to teleport, bombs on right stick, explosive visual effects, a Platinum trophy and PlayStation Trophy Leaderboards, Velocity Ultra improves on the 2012 Game Of The Year and PSN Gamers’ Choice Awards release in every area (except music ‘cos that rocked the first time around).”

PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD

(Our Review Here)

“Tikiman the Forest Defender is in trouble. Hordes of monsters are sweeping through his realm, hoping to chow down on his offspring – and it’s up to you to defend them. By placing weapon towers at strategic points around the landscape, you can destroy the invaders and save the little ones. Collect treasure along the way to build up your arsenal and pay for new towers – countless waves of monsters are out to get the babies, so you need to be prepared to battle!”

This month, European PlayStation Plus members will be treated to three highly rated games; the #bestonvita indie shooter Hotline Miami, Milestone’s infamous motorbike racing sim MotoGP 13 and stealth platformer Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.  Check out what the PlayStation Blog post had to say about these titles as well as in-game screens and review links below.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (via Cross-buy)

(Our Review Here)

“Next up, join master thief Sly Cooper on an adventure through the ages in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. The story goes that a time-travelling villain is scouring the past to pinch the Cooper clan’s biggest burgling secrets. Can Sly thwart the cunning crook before his family’s legacy is lost forever?

Don’t forget this title supports Cross Buy, Cross Play and Cross Save so you can access it on both your PS3 and PS Vita to ensure you keep up with Sly’s sneaky antics on the move!”

Hotline Miami

(Our Review Here)

“First up on PS Vita this month comes a high octane top-down shooter that’s attracted massive acclaim since its launch last year. Set in an alternative 1989, Cross Buy-enabled Hotline Miami finds you assuming the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine. Rely on your wits to choreograph your way through seemingly impossible situations as you constantly find yourself outnumbered by vicious enemies.”

MotoGP 13

(Our Review Here)

“Finally it’s time to get on your bike with pocket racing gem MotoGP 13. This adrenaline fuelled experience allows you to step into the shoes of a rider in career mode challenging you to rise from your Moto 3 wildcard entry to take on the very best in the MotoGP championship covering every racer of the season. If that isn’t enough then take on your friends in multiplayer. Whether you go it alone or with friends I’m sure you will love it!”

A hell of a month, don’t you think?

Better check those subscription end dates – wouldn’t want to hit the end of your subcriber period and miss out 😉
