A brand new listing at the online retailer ShopTo.net points to “maybe”.

Long rumoured around the PlayStation Vita water-cooler, the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has just popped up as a listing in ShopTo’s online retail catalog, sporting a possible sale price of £22.85 (the original price listed as £29.99 and subsequently crossed out), as well as a possible release date of June 20th.

There’s also what appears to be a mock up box art shown, a slightly enlarged and enhanced copy of which is shown below;

Medium

While there’s no guarantee that the collection is actually coming (nor of the price), this seems like a plausible next step as both the God of War Collection and Sly Cooper Collection are also in the cards and were long rumoured before being confirmed.

We’ll keep you updated if any more retailers list the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy for Vita, or any new information becomes available – but for now this is simply a rumour and should be taken with a grain of salt.

I think its true. I personally think we will see all of the “ps3 collection” like god of wars origins and ico/ shadow of the colossus. Its easy money for Sony because they know ppl will buy it plus its cheap to port over. I hope we see more ps2 collection come to vita.

  • Rodolfo Ferreira

I think it’s false. There is no reason whatsoever for Sony to port over a franchise which made no impact enough to justify it. That could be true with the PS4, as Sony is working hard on bringing PS2 ‘greatest hits’, ‘best seller’ hits, ‘I think this sold well’ hits, ‘because, why not?’ hits and whatever. Sony manages to do things very carefully when it comes to releasing a game on the Vita. Ratchet & Clank on Vita? Blind shot. And they don’t take blind shots.

A franchise which made no impact? Really? Am I missing something here? There’s been about 10 games in the Ratchet & Clank series. I think it’s true, as the ESRB rated it ages ago, makes sense it’s finally almost ready. I hope it’s true, I love the series.

      • SlyMedic

People do consider the ps2 to be the R&C console so this fool is crazy.

    • Pata

I seriously hope you’re not talking seriously. You’re talking about a franchise with 4 games on PS2, 2 games on PSP and 6 games on PS3 (with 12+ million copies sold for the PS2 games alone) and it hasn’t made “impact”? Well, I should revise the definition of impact then…

I seriously want this to be true, because I really like the series. Day one purchase for me.

Okay, now that all of you die-hard fans of the series have took it off your chests, take a good second look at my answer. I said impact E-N-O-U-G-H. How people hang on every word. My comment was NOT about the game itself, it was about the PLATFORM it targets, remember we’re talking about the VITA. I said there IS a probability that might happen, but ONLY FOR the PS4, as Sony is bringing a lot of PS2 titles on to the PS4, not the Vita, but that’s just my opinion. Sure, R&C raised hell and sold like hot cakes but not every softwarehouse can play Square Enix and port the game over all the platforms just because Final Fantasy is a well-succeeded series. And no, I’m not a troll and I want Vita to get this port as much as you do but when PS4 is in the same equation as the Vita, guess who is Sony’s favorite pick?

    • Lester Paredes

      Stupid trolls.

Is that s blu-Ray logo on the top left of the box?

    • Jonathan Harding-Rathbone

Yes, but the box is a mock up.

      • darkknezz

Or a fake made in photoshop and they forgot to remove the logo

        • aros

Aye hopefully not though. Considering paying up front is an option, they have left titles such as edf up for pre order a long time after it was known it would not be a retail game.

  • Lester Paredes

Yes, please. I want this. Do I have to buy the God of War collection yet again to convince you, Sony?

  • I would definitely welcome more collections like this. I think they’re great for the PS Vita, for those that want those games portable or just never experienced them before.

  • aros

I would buy this. I have Sly pre ordered but slightly concerned about GOWs fps so waiting for impressions on that one but happy to pre order if we get some before release.
