Some of the weirdest games are coming to Japanese Vitas, starting this April.

D3 Publisher (best known for Adventure Time and Ben 10 games in the West) is best known for creating unusual concepts. Games like Earth Defense Force and Onechanbara (both of which are now core series for D3) started off in the Simple Series, so you can tell what we’re getting at with the type of games being offered.

This month, Tamsoft will bring the first two games to our favourite handheld; the first will be a mahjong title based on the 2006 PSP game The Anywhere Girls Mahjong, and the second a car-chase action title which uses The Highway Escape: Nagoya – Tokyo as its inspiration.

Update;

The names of the games as well as their release date, price and official pages have been added to the official D3 site, as well as some logo art.

    I’m all for a car chase game.

    Personally, I would love to see a Vita EDF follow up. That game was campy and schlocky and yet 100% pure fun.
