Lancarse’s new role-playing game gets some brand new screenshots and renders to show off with.

Announced only the other day, we’re just now getting our first real load of screenshots and character renders to check out.

If you haven’t heard of Lost Dimension, it starts with a mysterious man named The End who slaughters, destroys, and welcomes the world’s destruction. When he appears with the mysteriously erected monument called “The Pillar” and proclaims war against those with abilities (citing the end of the world in thirteen days), a secret military agency consisting of of ability users called S.E.A.L.E.D. quickly forms as a countermeasure.

The Pillar, erected in (what used to be) New York City.

The player takes control of Sho Kasugai (the protagonist), who’s one of these S.E.A.L.E.D. members. It’s up to Sho and his gift of “vision”, alongside Yoko Tachibana (a telepathic), and other members of S.E.A.L.E.D. to stop The End from destroying the world. The only problem? There’s a traitor in the group, and it could be anyone.

Here’s some more character renders;

…and the screenshots;

Lost Dimension will be released in Japan on August 7th, stay tuned to TVL for more information as it becomes available.

    Vita’s really becoming the JRPG fan’s system of choice.

  • This looks really interesting and I am definitely looking at the whole play on words and always think of Marvel’s SHIELD when I read about S.E.A.L.E.D.
